Celebrities and Family Talk About Kim Kardashian's Divorce

    Kim Kardashian

Kim Kardashian filed for divorce on Halloween from her husband of only 72 days: Kris Humphries.

"After careful consideration, I have decided to end my marriage. I hope everyone understands this was not an easy decision. I had hoped this marriage was forever, but sometimes things don't work out as planned. We remain friends and wish each other the best," Kardashian said in a statement.

Yes, Kardashian is quiet about it -- and she's about the only one! Everyone has an opinion on the couple's ill-fated marriage, even celebrities.

    Ice T

You know Ice T would be all about the ice when he tweeted about the announcement.

"Wow! I just heard Kim Kardashian is getting a divorce after only 72 days of marriage???..... I bet she keeps that ring," he wrote, referring to her $2 million dollar engagement ring.

    Andy Cohen

Bravo honcho Andy Cohen knows all about reality television drama, so it's no surprise he had to add his two cents about the divorce.

"Thanks for the entertainment, Kim Kardashian," he wrote. "Do they have to return the gifts???"

    Kourtney Kardashian

Kourtney Kardashian tweeted love to her sister hours after the divorce was announced.

"Our sister is going through a difficult time but we're a close family and are sticking together like always," she wrote. "We appreciate everyone's kindness and support. @KimKardashian, we love you."

    Khloe Kardashian

Khloe Kardashian -- on the other hand -- took to her typical Twitter preaching about how fans should act.

"Reading some these comments r so hurtful. Im grateful 4our fans who understand & r being respectful. Hate is disgusting. Love is everything," she wrote.

    Mindy Kaling

"The Office" star Mindy Kaling asked a very valid question.

"This Kardashian thing is almost too much to comprehend. Was it all a dream, you guys" she asked.

    Kathy Griffin

Kathy Griffin was more upset that Kardashian's quickie divorce made a joke of marriage while gay couples are still fighting to get the right.

"Ugh! gay couples like Kim K & Kris H ruining the sanctity of marriage is the problem w the radical homosexual agend--- oh wait, oops:)" she tweeted, turning it into a joke.

    George Takei

Openly gay actor George Takei echoed Griffin's comments.

"Kim Kardashian files for divorce after 72 days. Another example of how same-sex marriage is destroying the sanctity of the very institution," he wrote.

    Rob Delaney

Comedian Rob Delaney had the best answer to the day's news: he's suing Kardashian for putting us through the sham marriage.

"I wish to formally announce that I am suing Kim Kardashian to stop her divorce from Kris Humphries. I am also suing Ryan Seacrest, E! Entertainment Television, and Comcast for promoting their sham marriage, bilking advertisers, and polluting the airwaves of America and every other nation unfortunate enough to be subject to the disease of Kardashia," he wrote.

    Here, here!

    Rob Kardashian

Rob Kardashian addressed the news backstage Monday night at "Dancing With the Stars."

"My sister is obviously going through a lot and we're obviously very supportive of whatever decision she makes," Rob said.. "We're just here as her family just to be with her and be on her side for whatever."

    Sheri Shepherd

"The View" host Sheri Shepherd got married about the same time as Kardashian and Humphries.

"I'm not going to judge Kim & Kris Kardashian... Lord knows I'm always praying I do my "second" chance the right way... marriage is work" she tweeted. "I've been married 77 days... Kim had been married 72 days... maybe Sal & I should've invited them over for dinner & Taboo & prayer."

Too bad it wouldn't have helped, Sheri.

    Dina Manzo

Former "Real Housewives of New York" star Dina Manzo is more upset about the message Kardashian is sending young girls.

"Watching the news, I'm torn on this Kim thing, part of me feels bad for her & the mother in me is pissed. So many young girls look up to her," she wrote.

"Some of u r saying what a wise woman once told me. She was in love with the idea of love~I guess it's 'insert prince charming here' syndrome."
