A rep for Jennifer Hudson has asked the media for complete
privacy and respect for Jennifer during this difficult
time.
As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, a public
memorial celebration was held at the Pleasant Gift Memorial Baptist
Church in Chicago on Sunday. Neither Jennifer nor sister Julia, the
mother of Julian, attended.
Darnell Hudson and Jason Hudson were discovered shot to death on
Friday, October 24, while 7-year-old Julian Hudson went missing.
His body was discovered on Monday, October 27.
On Friday, a source confirmed to the Chicago Tribune that all
three were killed with the same weapon; a .45 caliber semiautomatic
recovered a block from where Julian's body was found.
Julian's stepfather, William Balfour, remains a person of interest in the case and continues to be held by authorities on a parole violation, though he has not been charged in connection with the murders.
