"I love trying anything that makes you look and feel youthful," the realty star said.
Basically, doctors took blood from the reality star and then extracted the platlets. Then, they injected it into her face.
And it was painful, judging from her cries and red face.
"Oh my God. I will never get a facelift if it feels like that," she later said.
Sounds painfully ridiculous, doesn't it? Well, Kardashian's "vampire" beauty treatment isn't the only questionable thing celebrities do to stay beautiful.
Anderson Cooper is always a good sport on his daytime talk show. The CNN host played along back in February when co-host Stacy London put a thick paste of gray stuff on his face.
And what exactly was in this beauty treatment? Kitty litter.
"It's made of a lot of different things and what it does is it tightens your pores and it moisturizes your skin, and it's really meant to kind of smooth lines... Do all the things that facials do," the "What Not to Wear" host told a skeptical Cooper.
Thinking of trying this on your own? Don't. Most brands of kitty litter contains chemicals that are dangerous to the skin. Instead, opt for a good clay mask - you'll get the same benefits without putting your health at risk.
Victoria Beckham has millions of dollars in the bank, so why is she putting bird poop on her face to stay young? Because it works, apparently.
The facial - made from nightingale poo - has an enzyme that helps exfoliate.
"She tried it and loved how great her skin looked. She also uses a cream derived from nightingale poo at home," a source told the Daily Mail in 2011.
It's not cheap, either: Every treatment will set you back an average of $300.
But, celebrities and placentas go together like cake and ice cream. Case in point? Simon Cowell. The acerbic judge on "The X Factor" reportedly gets facials made out of sheep placenta.
"He's tried vitamin injections, drips, detoxes, smoothies, Botox and massages, but after reading rave reviews about placenta facials, decided he had to give them a go," a source told the UK tabloid The Sun last year.
Think it's just a rumor? His facialist confirmed it.
His facialist Linda told the U.K. show "Lorraine" that Cowell gets them on the regular.
"He loves it," she said.
Would you ever get one of these facials?
