A weekend of fun turned into heartbreak for Usher and his ex-wife, Tameka Foster: Her 11-year-old son, Kyle Glover, was pronounced brain dead after a jet ski hit him in the head on Lake Lanier, Georgia.
Usher flew to Kyle's bedside on Sunday night, according to US Weekly - and he remains there as Foster makes the heartbreaking decision whether or not to take him off life support.
A representative for Georgia's Department of Natural Resources said the department's Critical Incident Response Team will reconstruct the accident to figure out how fast the jet-skier was traveling at the time of the accident. Police will then decide whether or not to file charges.
Horrific.
Foster and Usher have a tough road ahead, but several of his celebrity friends sent them well wishes through Twitter. Surprisingly, Usher protégé Justin Bieber hasn't yet commented on the situation via Twitter - he's currently in Japan.
