2012 is less than two weeks away and some celebs are ending the year on a high note while others haven't had such a lucky year. This week has some pretty large headlines for Hollywood's biggest stars. What are our favorite A-listers up to this week?
It looks like there is some place else you can call home for the holidays...Brad Pitt's old digs in Malibu. The "Moneyball" actor recently sold his California home to talk show host Ellen DeGeneres and her wife Portia de Rossi. Pitt lived in the home previously with ex-wife Jennifer Aniston. The house overlooks the Pacific Ocean and comes equipped with both a pool and tennis court. Not too shabby!
We bet both Brad and Jen are glad to see this home finally get sold and we hope Ellen and Portia have better marital luck in it than B & J.
"It was a quick transaction and Brad's stuff is already out," a source tells Us of the A-list deal. "Ellen and Portia would like to start using the house immediately."
Justin Bieber Reveals He Never Believed In Santa Claus
It's hard to imagine the pop star not bebiebing (sorry, we had to!) in the magic of Christmas and Santa Claus during his major publicity of late for his holiday album but the singer revealed in an interview with AOL Music he sadly never did.
"My mom always told me there wasn't a Santa," Justin said.
"This was her logic: She thought if I grew up knowing about Santa then finding out he wasn't real, that it would be like she was lying to me. And then when she told me about God, I maybe wouldn't believe her," he explained. "So she just wanted to be straight-up and honest with me all the time."
Okay so Justin's mom is just keeping it real. We can respect that.
Kim Kardashian Gets Blasted For Disrespecting the Institution of Marriage
It looks like Kim K. could take a few lessons from Miss Manners or perhaps, the Duchess of Cambridge herself Kate Middleton who was recently named the Best-Mannered Person of 2011. It's no surprise Lady Kate was nominated. After all, she is royalty now.
The National League of Junior Cotillions created the list of well-mannered celebrities. Kim was nowhere to be seen on the list but that isn't shocking. The group blasted former Mrs. Humphries for "making a private matter public and disrespecting the institution of marriage." This is only one incident lately of many hits of backlash since Kim announced she would be divorcing her NBA playing husband Kris after only 72 days of marriage.
J.R. Martinez Will Be a Father!
2011 has been quite the year for the 28-year-old war veteran who stole America's heart on "Dancing With the Stars." The former soldier survived an IED explosion in Iraq and subsequently underwent 33 surgeries. His dedication and inspiring story helped him win the big trophy in Season 13 of "DWTS" and now he has even more to be happy about.
People reports the actor and is girlfriend Diana Gonzalez-Jones are currently expecting their first child in early 2012.
"2011 has been full of a lot of surprises and opportunities and ultimately, a lot of blessings," he said. "Diana and I were just asking ourselves, 'How is 2012 going to top 2011?' Well, we have our answer!"More from this contributor:
