And speaking of McConaughey

...

Matthew McConaughey is stepping into the role vacated by Owen Wilson in the comedy "Tropic Thunder," reports Variety.

He joins the already cast Ben Stiller, Jack Black, Robert Downey Jr., Nick Nolte, Bill Hader and Steve Coogan.

Stiller is also directing the film about a group of actors who gather on a remote island to shoot a big-budget war movie and are forced to become the soldiers they are playing.

McConaughey, who most recently starred in "We Are Marshall," recently finished shooting the comedies "Fool's Gold" with Kate Hudson and "Surfer Dude."

According to Variety, McConaughey carved out a week in his schedule to shoot the "Tropic Thunder" role in Hawaii.

...

Ryan Reynolds has joined the cast of the laugher "Adventureland," reports Variety.

Set in the summer of 1987, the comedy follows an uptight recent college grad (Jesse Eisenberg) who is forced to take a minimum-wage gig at a local amusement park.

Reynolds will play Connell, an aspiring rock star and the idol all the kids working at the park look up to.

"Adventureland" was written and will be directed by Greg Mottola, who also helmed "Superbad."

Shooting is scheduled to begin next month in Pittsburgh.

...

Oscar-winner Jim Broadbent is headed to Hogwarts.

Broadbent told the sci-fi fan site Dark Horizons he's been asked to join the cast of "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince."

He would play Horace Slughorn, a retired potion's master who is lured back to the school in the sixth installment of the wizard franchise.

Filming is scheduled to being later this year.

Broadbent has also been cast in the upcoming "Indiana Jones" movie as a colleague of Harrison Ford's character at Yale.

Broadbent won the Oscar for Best Supporting Actor for his role in the 2002 drama "Iris."

Matthew McConahaughey makes me vomit. He is SO REPULSIVE. And he's not really into women and can't sustain a relationship at all. He really likes men, I'm sure of that.
