LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Carrie Prejean has no plans to file a lawsuit against her former bosses at the Miss California USA Organization, the former beauty queen exclusively told Access Hollywood's Billy Bush for "The Billy Bush Show" on Friday morning.

"No, it's not signed. It hasn't been filed," Prejean told Bush early Friday.

On Thursday evening, Perez Hilton, posted what appeared to be the front page of a lawsuit from Prejean against Miss California USA Organization Executive Director Keith Lewis and Shanna Moakler, Lewis' former co-executive director, alleging slander and libel among the complaints. Perez reported that Prejean had not filed the suit, but was planning to.

But Prejean, who was dethroned in June, over what the Miss California USA group said were contract violations, told Bush she isn't going to sue her former bosses in court. Instead, Prejean said she plans to put pen to paper for her upcoming book.

"[Are] you going to file one?" Bush asked of a lawsuit.

"No, I mean, hopefully this will all just get taken care of," Prejean said. "There's definitely some things that are false that they've said about me and I think definitely the book will -- it's sort of like therapy for me. It's a way for me to just get out the truth, really.

"I mean they did slander me, they defamed me," Prejean continued. "They made me look like I don't show up to work, like I don't do my job and that's not true, Billy. I mean they haven't proven one appearance that I missed and no one's challenged them. Not one media outlet has challenged them and said, 'Prove to me. What appearances has she missed?'"

When asked by Bush why her lawyer prepared the legal papers, Prejean said, "every good lawyer has their ducks in a row."

In June, Lewis released a statement over Prejean's firing, claiming she was let go due to "contract violations including Ms. Prejean's unwillingness to make appearances on behalf of the Miss California USA organization."

He claimed that after pageant owner, Donald Trump, allowed Prejean to keep her crown, in May, following racy photos of the 22-year-old cropping up on the Internet, Prejean appeared "unwilling to fulfill her obligations under our contract and work together."

Prejean appeared on a handful of shows following her dismissal - which she learned about first on "The Billy Bush Show," but she told Bush she will really address things in her book.

"The book's going to be amazing," she said. "Everything in the book is factual. I could never say something that's not true... Everything that is in the book I can either back it up with e-mails or witnesses. I'm really excited about that. I just can't wait for that book to come out and for people to see it. I really think their jaws are going to drop."

While reps for Lewis and Moakler were not immediately available for comment, Moakler herself posted several quotes from Trump on her Twitter account late Thursday evening including, "When somebody challenges you, fight back. Be brutal, be tough. - Donald Trump."
