Bryce revealed that right after the birth of her son, she experienced a lack of emotion.

"Nothing," she wrote of her feelings at the time. "I felt nothing."

The actress - whose recent credits include "The Help," "50/50" and "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse" -- went on to reveal that she couldn't even bring herself to call her son by his name, noting, "at that point I mysteriously referred to [Theo] as 'it,' even though we had named him. I was watching a health program the other day and the guest speaker spoke about the misconception of "postpartum depression" and said that it's a hormonal imbalance and not a mental disorder. Hormones are out of whack but doctors are still treating it with anti-depressants which do not "cure" the problem. Too bad Bryce is not going to see this response because she can head off trouble by having her hormone levels checked on a regular basis.

do you remember the program by chance? I am currently due in May and have had infertility due to hormonal imbalance. I didn't realize the PPD was due to this or that there is a connection. Thanks for the heads up! I will definatly have my dr keep a close eye on this.

Guess JZ and his old lady aren't the only ones who know how to have a baby, the way people talked a week ago those 2 were the only ones who knew how to breed.

WOW, I love how all the superficial Hollywood brownnosers offer their cookie cutter congrats when they repopulate the Earth that is WAY too full and has been for decades. "Oh, look at the baby, Elaine, you've got to see the baby!". Big effing deal.
