LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- The Boss has taken control of the charts once again.

Bruce Springsteen 's "Working On A Dream" sold over 223,700 copies in its debut week, launching it to the top of the album charts and making it the biggest seller of 2009 thus far.

And with the bulk of the sales coming prior to Springsteen's rockin' Super Bowl performance, it is likely the album's sales will continue to climb in the coming weeks.

Coming in a distant second this week with 55,100 copies sold was country cutie Taylor Swift and her sophomore album entitled "Fearless."

Miss Sasha Fierce herself, Beyonce, trailed Swift at number three, followed by Nickelback's "Dark Horse" and Kanye West 's "808s and Heartbreak" rounding out the top five.

On the digital download front, Kelly Clarkson snagged the top spot with her latest hit, "My Life Would Suck Without You," receiving 216,283 downloads.

The All-American Rejects' single, "Gives You Hell," finished as the second most-downloaded single, while last week's champ, Lady GaGa 's ever-present party girl anthem "Just Dance," finished third.

the superbowl half time show sucks again. he looked like he was drunk or high on something. i never liked his music. the whole spring thing performance got on my last nerve and he look liked he didn't know when to quit singing, hopefully next year the half time will be more better. but i did love the clydesdales commercial and the babies. the rest was a downer.
