LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Bruce Jenner has spoken out about his stepdaughter, Khloe Kardashian's, impending jail sentence.
As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, Khloe was sentenced on Monday to 30 days in jail for failing to adhere to the terms of her March 2007 DUI probation.
In a new interview with Access' Billy Bush for his "Billy Bush Show" and Access Hollywood, Jenner said Khloe is very upset over the news.

"Obviously for Khloe, it's devastating," the former Olympic gold medalist told Billy. "She made a mistake. She knows that. But, they've kind of just thrown the book at her It's her first offense."
Though Kardashian was sentenced for failing to complete an alcohol program and Cal-Trans work as community service, Jenner said she had actually attended appointments for both. He also said Kardashian's jail sentence had been reduced from 30 days to three.
"She's had to go to AA meetings and she really doesn't even drink that much," Jenner said. "She's had to be on the side of the road picking up garbage. Now they're throwing her in for three days and it's just unfortunate, but that's the law and she made the mistake and hopefully other kids can see what this is and realize, 'Hey! You cannot be drinking and driving.'"

Jenner said the situation has been "hard on the whole family."
"I talked to her for a long time this morning. Of course I just found out. I'm always the last to know. She came home this morning and we sat down and talked about it," he said. "It's disappointing. I feel sorry for her, but she made the mistake and she's, just gonna have to pay the price, suck it up, go through it, move on and never do that again."
