Britney Spears Involved In Minor Car Accident

LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Britney Spears was involved in a minor car accident Tuesday afternoon on Sunset Boulevard.

The singer was driving her white Mercedes SL on the strip just after 2 PM local time when she rear-ended a red Ford Explorer, X17 Online reported.

According to X17 Online, neither party was hurt in the crash.

Britney reportedly suffered some damage to the front of her luxury vehicle.

The pop star stayed in the car following the incident, while her bodyguard, who had been riding in the car's passenger seat, appeared to exchange information with the other driver, the Web site reported.

Following the incident, Spears returned to her home in The Summit.
