LONDON, UK -- After a rough week that almost saw her leave "Britain's Got Talent," Susan Boyle stepped up to the stage in the show's final for what judge Piers Morgan called "the greatest performance" in the reality competition's history.

Once again singing the song that made her famous, "I Dreamed A Dream" from "Les Miserables," Susan wowed judges Piers, Simon Cowell and Amanda Holden, who nearly cried while watching the Scottish singer's dramatic performance. And when she was done, they all gave her a standing ovation.

"That to me was THE greatest performance I've seen in 'Britain's Got Talent' history... you should win. I loved it," Piers said as Susan turned away in embarrassment.

"You did it, girl, you did it for Scotland," Amanda added, noting, "Can I just say, Simon had a tear in his eye."

And Simon himself was impressed with SuBo's determination.

"You could have walked away [from the competition] and you could have had a lot of stuff coming your way in America," Simon told Susan, the reality show's breakout star. "Win or lose, you had the guts to come back here tonight, face your critics and you beat them and that's the most [important] thing.... You can walk away with your head held high. I absolutely adore you."

He added said he was glad he had gotten to know the "real Susan Boyle," who he called "a very nice, shy person who deserves a break."

The 48-year-old church volunteer became a sensation after her first appearance on the show, a video that has now been viewed on YouTube over 100 million times.

But she isn't the only contender in the reality competition final, which will declare a winner late Saturday evening. Hollie Steel, 10, who broke down sobbing on Friday night during her performance, gave a more confident effort on Saturday.

Really, people? She's overrated. Nothing wrong with her, but honestly, you know 10 people who can sing as well or better. You do. Seek them out and ask them to sing; at least you won't be feeding into the most ridiculous case of overhype since the opening of Al Capone's vault.

She will survive.... The dancers were probably good, but who in the hell will know who they are next month..... Susan may not have won, but everyone knows who she is and will remember her.

Many years ago I could not stand to listen to nor watch Barbara Streisand. Then A movie came along called “Funny Girl.” In that film I was Ms. Streisand turn From the ugly duckling into a gorgeous swan, and a voice that sounded like it Was all nose to that of a golden throated angel. I feel similarly to Susan Boyle, I am so proud that in a world of sex and beauty, she was able to lift he

She has more real talent than all the people combined that have ever been on this show. I for one vote for Susan to record her nerve soothing, velvet, beautiful voice so I can hear it more often.

Susan Boyle was robbed , she should have won on voice alone. No matter who the winner was, no matter how good your performance, Susan was better.

When you listen to the radio you don't care how anyone looks like but you do care how they sound. Susan, I don't care if you sing in your pijamas or in the bathtub like me. I would still love to hear you sing now and forever. Don't change for anyone but for yourself. God loves you just as you are. Hope the Queen realises the injustice the judges committed and invite you ove

People, don't be upset because these so called judges don't choose the real winner. They are chosing the losers so they can see how many people get upset and write in this blog!!!I am not upset because I know someone who wants to make millions will give a contract soon. Someone out there with time and money will give her the recognition she deserves no matter how she looks.

Susan was robbed!! A bunch of street dancers - gimme a break! If that's talent, the gyrating I did a few years ago when I disturbed a bunch of bees while cutting the grass could also be considered dancing and talent in which case I've missed my calling in life! What a joke!! Susan - America loves you and we're all going to buy your CD when it comes out - instant milli
