LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- The summer's headlines have been dominated by the death of pop icons, reality star relationships gone wrong and the Commander-in-Chief and First Lady. Parade.com has taken the pulse of America to find out what everyone has been talking about the most in its annual Summer Pop Culture Poll.

It's been decades since people considered the White House residents sexy, but in 2009, The Obama's earned the second spot - just behind Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie - as "sexiest couple," according to readers.

The First Lady was also deemed "biggest trendsetter" in the country, earning a whopping half of all votes cast. Michelle was trailed by style icons, Sarah Jessica Parker and Victoria Beckham, who placed second and third in the poll.

Paris Hilton may be in a steady relationship with Dough Reinhardt, but Parade readers gave her the title of "most promiscuous celebrity," followed by Pam Anderson, Lindsay Lohan and Alex Rodriguez, respectively.

And when it comes to stars who might need some professional help, readers thought the often-trouble British singer, Amy Winehouse, is the celebrity "most in need of therapy," with Lindsay Lohan coming in a closed second.

There were also some positive titles earned in the Sunday mag's poll. A vast majority of readers dubbed Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner the most "normal couple." Newylweds Fergie and Josh Duhamel are "most likely to succeed as a couple," when it comes celebs who've walked down the aisle so far in 2009.

As for celeb parents - not surprisingly - Nadya "Octomom" Suleman earned the title of "biggest problem parent," according to readers.

Taylor Swift received the thumbs up as someone to look up to, receiving a majority of votes for "best role model for teens," followed by Miley Cyrus and Zac Efron.

And in pure celebrity objectification, Johnny Depp and Halle Berry were named "sexiest," Jennifer Garner topped the "natural beauty" category and George Clooney was named "most distinguished-looking gentleman" - President Obama came in second.

Parade surveyed over 5,000 readers for this year's poll.

In a screwed up world where lust, lies and drugs run crazy its nice to see love in the faces of lovers. brad pit and angela alway look like they are trying too hard but the obamas are naturals. Say what you want but in this country when blacks are condemed and portraied negetively its good to see black love at its finnest.
