Singer Brandy Norwood has settled with the two children whose mother was killed in the singer's 2006 car accident.

Awatef Aboudihaj's two children will receive $300,000 each, according to court documents filed in L.A. County Superior Court today, TMZ.com reports.

Look back at Hollywood's biggest scandals.

Awatef's husband, Marouane Hdidou, has not yet settled with Norwood. He rejected a $1.2 million settlement offer in February.

In December 2006, Norwood's Land Rover struck another vehicle on L.A.'s 405 Freeway and caused a four-car pileup.

She was not charged with any crime after Los Angeles police ruled there was "insufficient evidence" that she'd committed vehicular manslaughter.

"It was a situation that changed my life forever," Brandy has said.

She did not break the law. What happened was an accident. She was not drunk, on any type of drugs or what have you but some of you still feel that she should have went to jail? That makes no damn sense. The loss of a love one is a terrible thing but accidents do happen. 300K was enough for the kids but 1.2 mil is not enough for the husband? Come one now! Its a payday for him!

Money can't bring that person back. If this was an everyday person that had it happen to them they would have possibly been sued and thats all. Just because it's Brandy it has been made a huge deal. If celebs got treated as everyday people like they truely are then I feel alot would be different. And remember she lost alot of herself when the accident happened.

Its a horrible thing to happen, and it CAN happen to any of us. I dont think she should have to pay any penalties than the rest of us. Why should the size of your wallet matter in this situation?

How many times are celebrities going to hop on Cali freeway, commit manslaughter, and get away it? $300,000 per child is NOT enough, how about a million each Brandy? What the heck wasAfter all, most kids wouldn't trade mom for a million bucks. No amount of money will bring their mom back, and I still believe she should be in jail. how could she live with herself? karma is a total %@!*# B
