LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- The people of New Orleans might be calling for Brad Pitt to run for mayor - even making t-shirts with the slogan, "Brad Pitt for Mayor" - but don't expect to see the actor on the campaign trail anytime soon!
During an interview aired on NBC's the "Today" show on Thursday, the actor joked about a bid for the mayor's seat when Ann Curry asked if he would serve if chosen.

"Yeah, yeah," the actor joked.
But then the actor - who hopes to build 150 homes in the area through his Make It Right foundation - revealed that his liberal stance on many of the issues might hurt his campaign.

"I'm running on the gay marriage, no religion, legalization and taxation of marijuana platform," Brad said. "I don't have a chance!"
When pressed by Ann, Brad came clean. "I don't have a chance," he explained. "It's not what I do best."
