Blake Lively: "I Feel Like a Tranny a Lot of the Time"

Blake Lively might play a beautiful young socialite on the hit CW show Gossip Girl, but in real life, she relates more to a very different demographic.

"I feel like a tranny a lot of the time," the 5-foot-10 star says in the May issue of Allure (on newsstands April 21). "I don't know, I'm ... large? They put me in six-inch heels, and I tower over every man. I've got this long hair and lots of clothes and makeup on."

The 21-year-old actress -- who says that with her blonde hair and small dog, she rarely wears pink "to avoid looking like a piece of bubble gum" -- admits that her towering height makes her a bit self conscious.

"I just feel really big a lot of the time, and I'm surrounded by a lot of tiny people," she adds. I feel like a man sometimes.

Her boyfriend, Gossip Girl costar Penn Badgley doesn't seem to mind. The two have been dating since late 2007, although they try hard to keep the relationship private.

"You see people who will open up their relationships, who are very affectionate on the red carpet or are doing a reality show with each other, and their relationship just seems to crumble, so I decided to keep a vow of silence," Lively says.

Still, she can't help but gush about her boyfriend's talents.

"He plays any instrument he picks up," she says of the 22-year-old actor. "He bought a piano, and then two months later you would think he was a concert pianist."

    I totally love Blake Lively and I think that she is so pretty. I don't think that she looks like a tranny and I think that she shouldn't feel that way. I'm 5'11 and I don't wear pink a lot either but that doesn't make you a tranny.

    For the sake of sanity, I'm 5'9" and I *am* a trans woman and *I* don't feel like a tranny most of the time, thank you very much. If she's ever had her penis come untucked while she was on the set, we can talk. Otherwise, maybe she should STFU.
