LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- They were once married, and if Billy Bob Thornton has his way, he'll once again be united with Angelina Jolie - but this time he's hoping for a big screen collaboration.

In a recent interview with TheBoot web site, Billy Bob brought up his actress ex, when asked which female star he wants to work with.

" Jessica Biel for one reason and Cate Blanchett for another. I've worked with Cate twice, and I'd say she's probably the best actress out there," Billy Bob said. "I'd like to do another movie with Angie too, one of these days."

The former couple starred on the big screen together in the comedy "Pushing Tin," in 1999. And although Angelina is happily in love with partner Brad Pitt and busy with the couple's six children, Billy Bob revealed he still keeps in touch with the brunette beauty.

"We talk all the time," he added. "She and I keep looking for something to do together; we just have to find the right thing."

    In my opinion, Billy Bob is telling the truth; Angelina and him talk all the time. We all know that Brad admitted that he still keeps in touch with his "sweetheart". It is just something that he has to do because Jennifer was and is part of his life. Angelina needs to admit the same thing. I know that Brad and Angelina will not be together for long.     I think that Angie is very much happy with her life. The fact that she and her dad didnt have a good relationship is probably why she is so into her kids and family and making sure they have a good dad. Obviously Brad and her are so very much in love. A lot of people go from wild and crazy as a younger person and then reach a time where they grow up and that is all she did.
