LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- None other than Beyonce will kick off the festivities after the presidential inauguration on Tuesday, Access Hollywood has learned.
The "Cadillac Records" star will sing the first song, Etta James ' "At Last," as newly sworn-in President Barack Obama arrives on the dance floor at the Neighborhood Inaugural Ball.

"I am so honored that I will be performing for President Obama and the First Lady," Beyonce told Access in a statement. "To sing 'At Last' while they have their first dance is a dream come true. I could not be more honored and excited that they have asked me to be part of this moment in history."
Other acts performing and attending will include husband Jay-Z , Mariah Carey , Alicia Keys , Mary J. Blige , Stevie Wonder and Maroon 5, while celeb presenters will range from Denzel Washington to Leonardo DiCaprio . The ball will be broadcast on ABC.
Beyonce will also perform before the inauguration, singing at "We Are One: The Obama Inaugural Celebration at the Lincoln Memorial" on Sunday. She'll be joined by Bruce Springsteen and Bono , among others. Bono will have the honor of introducing the President-elect, Access has learned. The event will air live on HBO at 4 PM EST and will be rebroadcast at 7 PM.
For Beyonce, this opportunity has been a long time coming.
"I can't wait," she told The Associated Press the day after the presidential election in November. "If they need me to volunteer, they need me to sing, I'm there, and I'm ready."
