It's getting close to summer, so you know what that means: time to hear about the incredible weight loss of celebs that have access to trainers, chefs and endorsement deals. Still, we need some inspiration for our own slim down for the summer months. Who is getting thinner by the minute in Hollywood right now?
Beyonce gave birth to her little girl, Blue Ivy, back in January. However, she's ready to get back to performing, so she enlisted the help of live-in trainer Marcos Borges. The fitness pro recently shared how he's getting Bey into her best shape ever.
"You don't have to eat only celery sticks," Borges said of his approach to fitness and diet. "Be sensible and exercise constantly."
As for Beyonce, he's reportedly getting her up at 5 a.m. for two-hour workouts that include lots of cardio and strength training.
"We do cardio and plyometric moves like lunges and jumps on and off a bench," he told US Weekly. Then they do it all over again at 5 p.m., according to Star.
"She's exhausted but totally dedicated," a source told Star. "Beyoncé's vowed to have a better body than ever before… and she's a woman of her word."
Khloe Kardashian has famously fought her weight for years - it's hard when you're naturally taller and larger than your tiny sisters, Kim Kardashian and Khloe Kardashian. Khloe's fight with her lbs. has been featured on her E! reality show, "Khloe and Lamar", but now it seems she's winning.
"My husband is working out four to six hours a day right now, so I work out with him," Khloe told Life & Style. "We'll do outside workouts and inside workouts. We're always switching it up, so it's fun."
The reality star is reportedly down 20 lbs., according to sources.
"She looks like she's now 155 pounds," nutrition expert Elana Michaels told HollywoodLife.com. "You can see it in her cheekbones and jawline, and her legs are much slimmer."
Sadly, her mother, Kris Jenner, isn't always so supportive when it comes to her daughter's weight. Jenner seems to be more concerned with how Khloe's weight affects their deals with diet pills like TrimSpa.
"She'll say, 'Oh, you're a little too fat right now,'" Khloe said recently.
Note to parents: That's not the way to handle it, even if your child is an adult.
Janet Jackson has become the poster child for fluctuating weight. The actress and singer has gained and lost weight so many times over the years that it's hard to keep track. Now, the singer is slim again, thanks to NutriSystem.
"This is what success looks like," Jackson says in a new commercial for the diet plan. She's down a reported 30-40 lbs.
Jackson revealed her fight with her weight started when she was just a tyke. The youngest Jackson sibling was told to lose weight when she started acting on "One Day at a Time."
"I remember them asking me, my first show, the wardrobe woman said, 'We are going to bind your chest.' I was developing at a very young age. Then the following season they told me I need to lose weight," she said. At her highest, Jackson got up to 180 lbs. on her 5-foot 4-inch frame.
Will she keep it off this time? She says she will, but time will tell.
