Rather than go for bold pink frocks at the 2013 Golden Globe Awards on January 13, many actresses opted for understated elegance. Pink is typically a popular color as it looks good on almost everyone and has the sweet, feminine look to it. However, not everyone pulled off their fashion picks at the awards ceremony. Which celebs wore the best pink gowns at the Golden Globes and who should have went with something completely different?
The new mom showed off her flawless figure in a blush Dolce & Gabbana strapless lace gown that had the perfect amount of style and elegance. She accessorized with jaw-dropping pink Lorraine Schwartz earrings and a metallic clutch and opted to keep her hair in a wavy side-swept style. It was perfection from head-to-toe.
The "Les Miserables" actress went romantic in a blush Givenchy Couture gown that had lovely lace detailing. She wore her hair down in soft waves and kept her makeup neutral. Although the texture of the dress is fabulous, there's just something off about the dress as a whole. The gown is just a bit too plain and there's nothing particularly extraordinary about it.
The "Nashville" star looked stunning at the Golden Globes in her blush mermaid-style Roberto Cavalli gown that had ruched detailing and soft tulle on the bottom that made her look like she was standing on cotton candy. She opted for minimal accessories and went with a punch of color with her bright pink clutch.
The actress skipped the light colored pink gown and went right for bold color and print in a one shoulder Atelier Versace gown that had a dangerously high leg slit and a funky pattern. She completed the look with nude pumps, hoop earrings and a bracelet. The dress was a bit too tacky and it seemed like she was just trying too hard. We're definitely not a fan of the ensemble.
Sound off! What are your picks for best and worst pink gowns at the Golden Globes?
