There are two new Beanie Babies on the block: "Sweet Sasha" and "Marvelous Malia."
But Ty Inc. spokeswoman Tania Lundeen insists the 12-inch dolls are not named after the first daughters. They picked the monikers because "they are beautiful names," Lundeen tells The Associated Press.
Look back at photos of famous First Children. The Sasha doll features pigtails and wears a white and pink dress with hearts; the Malia doll has a side ponytail and a long-sleeve shirt with capri pants.
"There's nothing on the dolls that refers to the Obama girls," says Lundeen. "It would not be fair to say they are exact replications of these girls. They are not."
See the Obama family's Just Like Us photo gallery. The dolls -- which are part of the company's "TyGirlz Collection" -- were introduced in early January and a limited supply has been shipped to retailers, the AP reports.
Can you tell which celeb these Cabbage Patch Kid dolls resemble? There is another doll on Ty's Web site named Jenna. Sadly, there is no doll named Barbara.
