Democratic presidential hopeful Barack Obama inspired celebrity
handbag designer Timmy Woods to create a handbag based on the signs
used by his campaign at rallies and speeches.
The first Obama Handbag will be given to the senator's wife,
Michelle.
"I hope she will get it in time to wear to the convention [next
week]," Woods whose work was featured on
Sex and the City
said in a statement.
The bag is made from Acacia Wood and a portion of the its sales

Obama is expected to announce his running mate as early as today
via a text message to supporters.
On Friday,
he slammed Republican opponent John McCain for
not having "a very clear sense of what ordinary Americans are goin'
through."
After McCain couldn't specify the number of homes he owns, Obama
told the CBS
Early Show that McCain's comment and his policy
positions "indicates that you're out of touch, you don't get
it."
