LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Audrina Patridge and her "Hills" co-star, Lauren Conrad, are officially on the outs.

Last week, rumors surfaced that LC and Audrina's on-again/off-again beau, Justin Bobby, had hooked up -- rumors which Lauren denied vehemently on her MySpace Celebrity blog. But in a new interview on "The Ellen DeGeneres" show, "Hills" beauty Audrina slammed her former housemate.

"After I found these rumors out, she chose to talk to me through the tabloids and not come directly to me or call me as a true friend," Audrina told Ellen.

The brunette said she is still unclear whether the rumors are true, but neither LC nor Justin have made matters any clearer.

"Pretty much we're just trying to figure this out," Audrina said. "Neither of them have really talked to me or made an effort, so I really don't know what to believe."

Audrina said Justin Bobby addressed the issues using double talk.

"He kind of avoided the whole question and turned it back on me like typical guy," she said.

And as for LC, who up until recently Audrina was sharing a house with, she allegedly put the phone down on her friend.

"I called her and she hung up on me and that was my way of making an effort and asking her," Audrina said. "I never accused [anyone]. I just straight out asked them if they did it or not and I don't know what to believe."

Audrina confirmed that her current predicament is being filmed for the next season of "The Hills."

"We're kind of in a rut right now and I'm just trying to decide what to do right now," she said.

But, when Ellen asked Audrina if she is considering leaving the show to deal with her emotional battle, the star said she was too important to the drama to split.

"I'm a big part of the show so you know, we're filming until December and then after that we'll see," she said. "It's fine."

As for LC, she hit her MySpace Celebrity blog last week to defend herself.

"I have never even been in the same place as Justin when Audrina wasn't around," she blogged. "I have been there for Audrina for years of ups and downs with this guy. Now she is accusing me of hooking up with him? It's the most awkward position to put me in because I can't defend myself without putting both her and Justin down.

"Bottom line, I did not and would never hook up with Justin," she wrote.

    I can see both sides. How lame for LC not to tell Audrina personally instead her myspace page. On the other is how ridiculous thinking the rumors of Justin-Bobby and LC hooking up. The fourth season has been pretty boring. I think it time to close shop and continue their lives off air.

    I don't blame Lauren for hanging up on Audrina, I would have done the same thing. Is Audrina serious? the only other person who wants to hook up with jb other than audrina is that drunk chick at the bar who he kissed in front of her.     audrina is such a ridiculous little bimbo,or at any rate she pretends to be. of course she won't leave the show. even if she's as dumb as she acts, she's not dumb enough to throw away her meal ticket. anyway this whole thing was cooked up just for the show. they needed a dramatic new story line that didn't involve heidi for once. they like to keep things fresh.
