Ashton Kutcher's Oscar party date for the past several years had been wife Demi Moore. This year, after he and Moore, 49, announced their split in November, it was Lorene Scafaria, the screenwriter with whom he toured Italy around Christmastime.
Kutcher, 34, took 33-year-old Scafaria (Adam Brody's ex-girlfriend) to Madonna and Guy Oseary's annual Oscars afterparty, a source tells Us Weekly. The twosome mingled with the likes of Cameron Diaz, Diddy, Katy Perry, Leonardo DiCaprio and Abbie Cornish.

Although Kutcher's rep has previously said he and Scafaria are platonic, their demeanor at a Feb. 25 X Prize charity bash suggested another story. "They were affectionate," an onlooker says. "They held hands, and she rubbed his back and neck."

Kutcher's estranged wife Moore meanwhile, has been M.I.A. since checking into a rehab facility earlier this month. "Rehab is the only thing she can do right now," a source said of the troubled Margin Call star, who collapsed Jan. 25 after smoking an incense-like substance. "She needed something serious to get her back on track."
