Ashlee Simpson Continues To Play Coy Over Pregnancy Questions
Access Hollywood - April 24, 2008 9:33 AM PDTLOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Ashlee Simpson continues to play coy with the media when it comes to formally addressing whether or not she is pregnant.
In an episode of "The Ellen DeGeneres Show," set to air today, the newly engaged Ashlee once again dodged the latest attempt to get her to confirm or deny if she is with child.

"So I can't let you sit here and not ask you the question," Ellen began. "The elephant in the room - now are you or are you not pregnant?"
"Well, that has been going on for quite a while," Ashlee said. "That is definitely something that I choose personally not to discuss except for the fact that maybe⦠do I look like I had ten cheeseburgers or something? Because I don't think I do."

Though she didn't outright deny a pregnancy, Ashlee stood up on Ellen's program, showing off her figure. That move seemed to come across as a denial - at least to Ellen.
"No, you don't look pregnant," Ellen commented. "But everybody is saying you are."

Ellen then asked if Ashlee would let the fans know at some point, if she is going to have a baby.
"I promise you that," Ashlee said. "I give you my pinky on that."

KK JI think that once she is ready to tell people that she is pregnant then she will. Some things are just meant to be private. She may not even be pregnant. People can get engaged without being pregnant.
