After starring in one of the most scandalous real-life divorces of the decade, Arnold Schwarzenegger may have finally figured out his chances of reconciling with ex-wife Maria Shriver are about as slim as a runway model's waist. This week the Terminator was photographed around town with a blonde woman who some suspect could be his rebound romance.
Celebrity websites report the mystery woman is a physical therapist named Heather Milligan, with whom the body builder was spotted over the weekend having a "romantic dinner" and then brunch the next day. Though the relationship could be purely platonic -- both parties share a fascination with physiology -- rumors are swirling there could be a love connection between the two.
The former California governor suffered a drastic personal and career setback when it was revealed during his marriage to the Kennedy heiress that he had fathered a child with the family housekeeper at the same time she was pregnant with the couple's fourth child.
The Austrian actor is not the only recently divorced celeb whose recuperating heart may have been struck by Cupid's arrow.
Since her split from Seal one year ago, Heidi Klum has been dating her bodyguard, Martin Kirsten, and her ex-husband did not respond well to her rebound romance. The singer told a reporter last fall he wished the supermodel had "at least waited until [they] separated first before deciding to fornicate with the help, as it were," though he later clarified through a spokesman he was not accusing his ex of cheating on him while they still lived together as man and wife.
Katy Perry may have jumped out of the frying pan and into the fire when she traded in Russell Brand for John Mayer. The musician has a reputation for being a tell-all Romeo, calling former flame Jessica Simpson "sexual napalm." He may have had his comeuppance, however, when another former girlfriend recorded the country song "Dear John," which included such lyrics as "All the girls that you've run dry have tired, lifeless eyes 'Cause you've burn them out." Though Taylor Swift never acknowledged her song was about Mayer, he assumed it was and told a reporter, "It made me feel terrible because I didn't deserve it."
Though neither is yet technically divorced, two other very high profile celebs -- Ashton Kutcher and Kim Kardashian -- have also moved on from their failed marriages. The "Two and a Half Men" star has been dating his former "That '70s Show" co-star Mila Kunis (she reportedly may move into his mansion soon) and the now-pregnant Kardashian is hanging with Kanye West, who also happens to be the father of her baby girl due this July.
