If the extravagant demands stars have been making recently are any indication, the economy really is picking up. This week it was reported that Khloe Kardashian's upcoming prenup with Lamar Odom will contain unusually brazen "needs," such as lifetime LA Lakers tickets for her entire family. Let's take a look at that and some other recent celebrity demands.

Khloe Kardashian's Prenup

It was reported this week that if engaged couple Khloe and Lamar Odom ever divorce, Khloe will require a flat sum of $500K for each year of marriage, $25K of general support, $5K per month for shopping, $1K per month for beauty expenses, ownership of the couple's new house (which hasn't even been purchased yet), a new luxury car at the end of every lease cycle, and, most extravagantly, those Lakers (courtside!) tickets for her family.

Jon Gosselin's $10,000 Voice

A Tampa radio station claims they offered Jon Gosselin first-class airfare and hotel accommodations in return for Gosselin's one-day appearance as co-host of their morning show, but says the reality-TV star demanded $10K$12K in appearance fees. Gosselin's rep denies this and says they turned the station down, but the station says the deal is still in the works.

Jay-Z Must Ride in Style

Jay-Z's tour rider from last spring requested not only several vehicles for his crew, but also a very specific set of wheels for the performer himself: a late-model (either '57 or '62) black Maybach with tinted windows. In his defense, the performer's food demands weren't quite as expensive -- he asked for "good quality" peanut butter and jelly.

In contrast, Kelly Clarkson's contractual demands for her most recent tour were as bare-bones as they come, reinforcing the singer's reputation for keeping it real.

Celebrity demands are nothing new, of course. In 2007, Paris and Nicky Hilton reportedly received $500K just for showing up at a Las Vegas nightclub. And who can forget Jennifer Lopez's shocking dressing-room demands (flowers, white sheets, very specific candle scents) for her performance in a charity video? She claimed she wasn't a diva and blamed it on her staff, but the incident was hard for the public to forget. Celebrities -- especially reality show stars, it seems -- have to be careful when requesting appearance fees, lest an easy source of income should turn into a PR disaster.
