Another "Two and a Half Men" star is speaking out against the show. Following in the footsteps of former star Charlie Sheen, 19-year-old actor Angus T. Jones ripped the show in a candid video that has gone viral. "If you watch 'Two and a Half Men,' please stop watching 'Two and a Half Men,'" said the star. "I'm on 'Two and a Half Men.' I don't want to be on it. Please stop watching it. Please stop filling your head with filth, please." The comments are totally genuine, which is shocking considering the fame and fortune that the TV series has brought to the star. The video was done as part of his Christian testimonial, and there are no signs that suggest that it was done for the sake of publicity. Given all that he has been through, it might be a good thing that Angus values religion more than stardom. Here is a look at a few of the troubling things from the young man's past.
He's admitted to using drugs
In another recent video, the actor opened up about his past drug use. In addition to experimenting with marijuana, the star also admitted to trying acid. "The summer of my senior year, I started doing acid," he said in his recorded comments. There have been plenty of child stars that have admitted to drug abuse, but few have been as open about as Angus has. It looks like he is serious about keeping his life on the right track.
Both of his parents have been arrested
Long before becoming the highest paid child star on TV, Angus had to deal with the fact that both of his parents have been arrested multiple times. His mom Carey was arrested following a violent incident in a taxi in 1992, and she subsequently punched the cop that busted her. Five years later she was charged with burglary, but those charges were dropped. Kelly, Angus' father, has also had his share of run-ins with the law. In addition to drug and firearm possession charges, he was also accused of domestic assault against his wife in 1997.
His uncle is in prison for murder
This past September, a report emerged involving the actor's uncle. According the report, Eric Claypool, who is the brother of Angus' mom, is serving a 99-year prison sentence after killing a man that he accused of molesting him. In 1994, Eric allegedly shot the man in the back of the head with a gun that he stole from him. Angus might have only been a baby at the time of the crime, but it couldn't have been easy growing up in the wake of such a dark family story.
