Pastor Scott Nurse, Sr. - who officiated the ceremony at the Prospect Harbor Methodist Church - told Us their wedding was "very sweet."
"They are absolutely in love with each other," he told Us. "When I told him he could kiss the bride, everybody cheered. It was a very close, small family-type service."
The 20-minute ceremony was attended by 30 of the couple's closest friends and family members -- but not her Idol peers.

"I don't think they'd appreciate an invitation to Prospect Harbor, Maine," the bride told Us last month at the 40th annual Songwriters Hall of Fame Ceremony in New York City. "I can't really see Simon Cowell landing in Prospect Harbor. I don't think that would happen."

DioGuardi and McCuddy got engaged last December while on vacation in Mexico. They announced their engagement the day of her Idol debut on the show's eighth season premiere Jan. 13.

Its their decision weather to attend or not, Kara cant say "I cant see Simom at the Harbor" Invite them then let them give you a reply.
