NEW YORK, New York -- An agent for director Penny Marshall has denied a tabloid report that the star is sick with a brain tumor.
Earlier this week, the National Enquirer claimed the former "Laverne & Shirley" star had been diagnosed with a brain tumor and was "battling for her life."

Additionally, a source at the 66-year-old star's production company said Penny is fine.
"I spoke to Penny yesterday," the source said. "She is in New York. She is not in a hospital, she is not sick, she is doing well and is really great!"
The source added that Penny is expected at a game on Wednesday night in New York City, but could not confirm if it would be Game 6 of the World Series between the New York Yankees and Philadelphia Phillies.
