It's official! Adele and boyfriend Simon Konecki welcomed a baby boy within the past few days. Family sources confirmed the news to People on Sunday afternoon by saying that they're all "over the moon." We don't yet know many details about the birth - not surprising, given Adele's private nature.
The "Rolling in the Deep" singer confirmed the news on June 29 with an official post on her website.
"I'm delighted to announce that Simon and I are expecting our first child together," she wrote. "I wanted you to hear the news direct from me, obviously we're over the moon and very excited but please respect our privacy at this precious time."
It's the first child for Adele, though Konecki has a daughter from his previous marriage.
Congratulations to the happy couple! They join a growing list of celebrities with new baby boys in the family.
Smoking hot actress surprised fans last week when she announced the birth of her first son with Brian Austin Green. The surprise? He was born a few weeks ago.
"I gave birth to our son Noah Shannon Green on September 27th. He is healthy, happy, and perfect," she wrote in a Oct. 17 post on her Facebook page.
"We are humbled to have the opportunity to call ourselves the parents of this beautiful soul and I am forever grateful to God for allowing me to know this kind of boundless, immaculate love."
Like Adele, Fox's son is her first child, though Green has a son with former partner Vanessa Marcil.
Tori Spelling wasn't planning on a pregnancy in 2012, but that's exactly what happened a few months after she gave birth to daughter Hattie in October 2011. Though surprised, Spelling and husband Dean McDermott were excited to announce the arrival of Finn in late August.
The pregnancy was anything but normal, though: Spelling was diagnosed with having placenta previa a few months into her pregnancy. The condition - caused by the placenta covering the cervix - resulted in several months of strict hospital bed rest for the actress. Spelling detailed to US Weekly that both she and baby Finn were at serious risk of dying because of the condition. Luckily, they pulled through and are recovering nicely.
"I kept envisioning myself holding a healthy baby," she told US Weekly of what inspired her to keep going. "That was my goal."
The E! "Fashion Police" host has been very outspoken over the year about her problems with both breast cancer and infertility. It was obviously that both Giuliana and husband Bill Rancic wanted a child, so fans were thrilled when she announced the arrival of her son Edward Duke through a gestational carrier back in August.
The couple is even anxious to give baby Duke a brother or a sister.
"We've got a few embryos on ice. They're ready to go!" Giuliana told Life & Style. "A lot of people have one kid and it's enough. But for us, we're just having so much fun that we'd love to have another child."
