Adele should be feeling blissful after giving birth to a baby boy, but a few terrible Twitter trolls are trying to ruin the new mom's first moments with her son by hurling some horrendous death threats at the new family.
So instead of dreaming up lyrics for lullabies, Adele is probably worrying about crazy comments like this: "I'll go and see her in the UK and kill her." To make matters worse, Twitter trolls also decided to attack her baby. Here's one of the worst tweets about her son: "Aw Adele gave birth to a baby. Is it fat and handicapped lol? Just murder it already lol."
So why is the "Rolling in the Deep" singer getting such deeply disturbing death threats? Perhaps the people responsible are Lady Gaga fans - some jealous little monsters lobbed insults at Adele last year when her number of worldwide music sales surpassed Gaga's.
Unfortunately the "Skyfall" songstress may never know why she's being viciously bullied since Twitter trolls aren't exactly rational, and she's not the only star who has been targeted by them. Here's a look at some of the worst Twitter death threats other celebrities have received:
A Belieber wanted to hide Selena Gomez' body under her bed
Last year a few bitter Beliebers decided to attack Selena after seeing photographic evidence of her relationship with Justin Bieber. One furious fan labelled her a "pedophile" for being one year older than the Biebs, and another threatened her with this tweet: "I'm gonna kill ya in the night underneath your smell bed." Since this one was obviously written by a feverish 14-year-old fangirl, it's almost funny.
Kristen Stewart's affair outrage
But while some fans want to keep their celebrity idols single, others want them to stay with their significant others forever and ever. When K-Stew acted very un-Bella-like by cheating on Robert Pattinson with Rupert Sanders, a ton of Twihards did not take the news too well. Here's one tweet she received after ruining their eternal love fantasy: "Kristen Stewart cheated on Robert with her director...WTF! *loads and cocks gun* Imma kill that b***h :/" K-Stew was so concerned about the death threats that she made this paranoid comment about them: "I'm going to die because somebody is going to say where I am and somebody is going to kill me. Someone's going to Twitter my location and it's going to be, like, boom." Maybe Twihards will dial down the crazy now that Robsten seems to be working things out.
Pink turns red after attacks from Team Breezy
Punk pop star Pink poked fun at Chris Brown's performance at the AMAs back in May by tweeting, "One day if I lipsync, I hope I do it as well as him." Needless to say, Team Breezy did not react well. Here's what Pink said about it: "With the Chris Brown thing I got death threats for days. My favourite was, 'I will snatch you within an inch of your life'. I don't know how that works exactly, but whatever you want." Luckily she probably doesn't need to worry about being snatched to death, and Adele also probably doesn't need to worry about the empty-headed trolls targeting her.
