Access Exclusive: Marcia Cross Involved In Car Accident

LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- "Desperate Housewives" star Marcia Cross was involved in a car accident on Wednesday in Los Angeles, Access Hollywood has exclusively learned.

Cross was driving her Lexus RX near Wilshire and Berry in West LA around 2 PM when her vehicle collided with a sedan.

While the damage appeared minimal to Cross' Lexus, the other driver sustained significant front-end damage, as evidenced by photos from the scene.

Both cars were removed from the scene by a tow truck.

Cross' newborn twins were not with her at the time of the accident.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department, no police report was filed.

And since no injuries were sustained, the officer who responded to the scene only had the two parties exchange information, police told Access.

No further details on the crash were immediately available.
