50 Cent and Other Celebs Who Make Big Cash with Bets

    50 Cent.

Most people can't afford to lose $50 on a sports bet. However, 50 Cent isn't most people. The "In Da Club" rapper made a $500,000 bet that the New York Giants would beat the San Francisco 49ers in the NFL playoffs -- and he was right!

"Just watched a 500,000 dollar football game," he tweeted, along with a photo of the loot. "Sometimes I hear voices in my head they tell me thing. Like bet on GIANTS so I listen."

Does Fiddy need another $500K to add to his millions? No. However, he is donating it to a worth cause -- his grandmother.

"Street king baby I'm a king I do this. I'm giving this money to my nana she gonna faint LMAO all she do is go to the church :o)," he tweeted after the Giants won, referring to his beloved grandmother.

Stupidly rich celebrities like Curtis Jackson are fans of wagering more money than you probably make in a whole year on a stupid game. Who else likes to put it all on the line for the thrill?

    Floyd Mayweather Jr.

50 Cent might get his betting influence from his friends. Boxing champ -- and close 50 Cent buddy -- Floyd Mayweather Jr. reportedly dropped $1 million on a bet that Tom Brady and the Dec. 18 New England Patriots would beat Tim Tebow and the Denver Broncos.

He's never confirmed the bet, but Vegas sports bookie Mike Colbert told a local newspaper that Mayweather is "a valued customer who frequents the books quite often."

    Ben Affleck

Ben Affleck is known to put some money on the line for fun. The husband of Jennifer Garner was known to spend a lot of time in Vegas on "boozy gambling binges" before he checked into rehab in 2001.

The Las Vegas Journal-Review reported that Affleck -- along with pal Matt Damon -- made $800,000 playing $20,000 rounds of blackjack in Las Vegas. He also dropped $150K on tips for Hard Rock Hotel employees, according to the report.

His rep blasted the report at the time, calling it "inaccurate and irresponsible."

    George Clooney

Academy Award nominee George Clooney wanted to create a real-life "Ocean's 11" with Affleck, Damon and other pals like Brad Pitt. The group is known to spend late nights playing poker, though we're not sure how much money he wins.

50 Cent Bets His Shorts -- Literally

However, 50 Cent has more to lose with a new bet he made with a Twitter follower.

"Lets bet. If the Giants lose the Superbowl, u must post ur d**k on the twitter. If they win, I'll post my boobs & face on here. Bet?" a Twitter follower wrote to 50 Cent.

    He agreed.

Now, let's see if he'll make good on the bet if he loses.
