We should probably just call this summer "Emma Stone's Summer." Why? She's everywhere this summer with covers on magazines like ELLE and Vanity Fair and roles in films like "Friends With Benefits," "The Help" and "Crazy, Stupid, Love."
Stone is definitely our girl crush: she's gorgeous, real and talented. However, there's plenty even we didn't know about our new favorite actress.
She's Actually a Natural Blond
The gorgeous actress found fame in "Easy A" as a redhead -- and her fair skin tone signaled to us that it was natural. It's not, though '" she's actually a natural blond and went red for her role in the hit 2010 comedy. She went back to her natural color for her role in the upcoming "The Amazing Spider-Man."
"I mean, I haven't been around very long. I can't expect everyone to have seen "The House Bunny," Stone told ELLE of not being recognized with blond hair. "Oh God. I am having such waves of internal embarrassment, which now I'm admitting on a tape recorder. This is so one of the things I should keep in my head."
She Loves FarmVille
FarmVille is one of those games that you either love or hate. Stone loved it, until it took over her life.
"I got to level 42, and I wasn't doing anything else anymore, so I had to stop," she told ELLE.
We can sympathize, Emma.
She's Not Afraid to Admit a Girl Crush
"It's a no-brainer. Everything about her does it for me. That's my kind of woman," Stone explained about her crush on "Mad Men" stunner Christina Hendricks.
She Had a Meltdown Over Hayden Panettiere
Stone made her big screen breakthrough as Jonah Hill's crush in "Superbad," but before that the funnygirl tried out for a part on the hit show "Heroes."
"I could hear that, in the other room, a girl had just gone in and they were saying, 'You are our pick... On a scale of one to 10 you're an 11,'" Stone said of her show audition. Hayden Panettiere later walked out -- and she was the one who got the role.
"I went home and just had this meltdown."
You were better off, Emma!
She Has Something in Common With Jordin Sparks
Stone grew up in Scottsdale, Ariz., in the same area as "American Idol" winner Jordin Sparks -- and they knew each other. Our It Girl and Sparks both acted at The Valley Youth Theatre.
Sounds like you need to go there if you want to be famous!
