What's life like when you're the child of a famous female musician? It's a ton of fun, if these musical women are any indication.
Jennifer Lopez is getting ready to go on tour again this summer with Enrique Iglesias and Wisin Y Yandel, but don't expect her to keep twins Max and Emme at home. Nope, they're coming with mom on the road.
"We're going in the summer so they won't be in school at that time, so they're going to come with mommy on tour," Lopez told reporters during a tour press conference. "I don't know how that's all going to work. Hopefully, there's always grandma's house if they get really tired and stir crazy. But, I can't be away from them for too long. They'll be with me most of the time."
We know one thing we'd love to see: A Max and Emme dance number during the show. Will it happen? Probably not, but we can dream.
Gwen Stefani is definitely the coolest mom out there. The No Doubt lead singer is not only musically and fashion inclined, she's also fun. Stefani is often spotted out with sons Kingston and Zuma.
"I like to be with them whenever I can, of course," Stefani told MSN. She wasn't kidding: Paramedics were called when Stefani passed out this weekend at her son's school carnival. She's okay, though.
Where does she get her parenting (and style) influence from? Her own mom, of course.
"Growing up, I had a really amazing mom who was really creative. She made stuff for every holiday, and I learned how to sew. ... She has really good style - and I feel like my parents let me be creative - but they'd always check my skirt length," Stefani said of her parents.
Big voiced singer Celine Dion loves being a mother - and it shows! Dion had to endure years of IVF treatments to get pregnant with her kids, son Rene-Charles and twins Eddy and Nelson.
She has more time to spend with them this summer, too: Dion is sidelined from her Las Vegas gig for several months after she came down with a virus in March.
"We thought that after a few days rest I would improve but it wasn't getting any better," she said in a statement. "Obviously this is the worst thing for a singer -- not being able to do your shows. I feel worse knowing that I'm disappointing my fans. I'm so sorry. I hope they forgive me."
Faith Hill is one half of the most powerful couple in country music, thanks to nearly two decades of marriage to Tim McGraw. The couple has successfully managed to give their three daughters a normal life while living in the spotlight. However, Hills says it's her daughters (Grace, Maggie and Audrey) that teach her more than she teaches them.
"[Daughter Maggie] brought it with her tonight in a big zip lock bag, and she is going to give it to the kids in the African Children's Choir," the singer told The Boot in 2009 of her daughter's fundraiser for children's education in Africa. "Maggie has a huge understanding of the needs of the world and she's taught me a lot."
