The 2013 People's Choice Awards took place on January 9 and some of the biggest names in the business were in attendance hoping to walk away with an award. Although it's an awards show where you don't have to go all out like at the Oscar's, it's still one where you want to show off your fashion sense and look your best as you strut your stuff down the red carpet. Unfortunately, some celebs are going to likely look back on this night in a few years and wonder what they were thinking when they walked out of the house. So who were some of the worst dressed celebs at the 2013 People's Choice Awards?
She did so well on the red carpet in 2012 so it just makes this black glittering Valentino Couture gown seem so much worse. It looked as though she was wearing a sparkly trash bag that was pinned and tailored in certain spots. The best part of the entire outfit was her black and crystal heels. Everyone got a great look at the mess of a dress when she stepped on stage to accept her award for Favorite Movie Actress. She also walked away with an award for Favorite Face of Heroism. "The Hunger Games" received awards for Favorite Movie, Favorite Action Movie, Favorite Movie Franchise and Favorite On-Screen Chemistry.
The actress wore a Peter Pilotto SS13 mini-dress and with the cutouts on the bodice and the colored detailing on the bottom, there's so much going on with it that it just looks like a hodgepodge of things that don't belong together. It also seemed like she was wearing a bit too much makeup. At least she walked away with an award for Favorite Dramatic Movie Actress.
The "Wide Awake" singer is one of the stars that you wait for on the red carpet. She always gives us something exciting to look at, but this year, she completely missed the mark in her black floral Valentino frock. Frumpy and boring doesn't even begin to describe this look and to make it worse, she wore her hair in a braided updo that just didn't suit her. Katy received awards for Favorite Pop Artist, Favorite Music Video, Favorite Female Artist and Favorite Music Fan Following.
If the beauty wanted to age herself, she succeeded. She wore a black-and-white Carolina Herrera tea-length dress that had a black lace tiered overlay and a vertical embellished design down the bodice. If she wore her hair in an updo and switched out the black pumps for strappy heels, maybe it wouldn't have been so bad.
The socialite even being at the People's Choice Awards is confusing enough, then you add her blue and green dress to the mix and it makes her presence even worse. The dress consisted of a strange mix of patterns including bows, lace and snakeskin. She paired the dress with blue suede pumps.
Sound off! Which dress gets your vote for the worst of the night?
