The Oscars are the perfect time for Hollywood starlets to go all out with their look, take risks, and make their mark on the fashion world. With so many celebs in attendance at the big event, it takes a lot to stand out from the crowd and make the best dressed list. However, a handful of ladies managed to do just that and with flair. Who made it to the front of the fashion pack at the 2013 Oscars?
Stacy Keibler
George Clooney's main squeeze walked the red carpet in a stunning embellished, gunmetal gray, Naeem Khan halter gown that had a sheer back panel and a black strip around her middle. Matching jewelry complemented the look as did her retro hairdo. It was complete perfection from head-to-toe.
The stunner walked the red carpet wearing a pale pink strapless Dior Haute Couture gown that hugged every curve on the bodice and flowed into a voluminous ballgown skirt. Her back necklace and dangling earrings, showcased by her relaxed chignon, were the ideal finishing touches.
At the 2013 Oscars, the brunette beauty wore a strapless ruby red Marchesa gown that was comprised of a long satin train, a sweetheart neckline and delicate gold embroidery on the bodice. It was one of the best looks she's ever sported on a red carpet.
Jessica Chastain
Although the copper-colored strapless Armani Prive gown was beautiful, there was danger of it being just another "beautiful" dress on the red carpet. Whomever suggested the red lipstick completely elevated her look. The entire look, from the soft wavy hair to the Christian Louboutin heels, was the epitome of old Hollywood glamor.
It's wonderful when a big risk on the red carpet actually pays off. The Best Actress nominee walked the red carpet in a silver metallic Giorgio Armani Prive gown that had a slight train and a cutout shoulder design. The slightly messy updo was the perfect hairdo for this ensemble and she looked absolutely phenomenal.
If there's anyone who can pull off simplistic beauty, it's Charlize. She wore a white strapless Dior Haute Couture gown that had a long train, a slight v neckline and peplum detailing. The diamond bracelets were everything and, overall, she looked flawless.
Sound off! Who earns your vote for best dressed at the 2013 Oscars?
