The Do Something Awards took place on August 19 with many famous faces walking the blue carpet. The ceremony honors celebs who make a difference in the world through charity work and contributions. As with all awards shows, fashion was a focus and several ladies pulled off some fantastic ensembles that were far from boring. So who should get an award for the best dressed of the evening?
The "Glee" actress is a fan of wearing low cut dresses with up-to-there leg slits to awards ceremonies, so it's no surprise she went with the same style at the Do Something Awards. She wore an off-white Giorgio Armani gown that had an open back, a ruffle around the plunging neckline and ruffles along the hem. The stunner accessorized with dangling earrings, a metallic clutch and strappy heels. Her hair was down and looked fabulous with beachy highlighted waves. On her arm for the evening was her boyfriend/co-star, Cory Monteith. Although they've been dating for quite some time, it was their first official public appearance as a couple. It was a big night for the 25-year-old; she won an award for her work with animal rights.
The "Twilight" beauty ties with Lea for the best dressed of the evening. Ashley walked the blue carpet wearing a short black-and-gold sleeveless Michael Kors dress that she accessorized with a gold clutch and belt and black peep-toe heels. The style and the color of the dress looked absolutely perfect on her. The brunette debuted lighter locks and we have to say we're liking the new color!
At only 14 years old, this Disney star sure has some style! She stepped out in a beige BCBG Max Azria lace dress that had bejeweled detailing around the waist. While many would have went with a nude or black pump, she opted for funky snakeskin ankle boots. We adore her straight hairstyle and makeup except for one thing - the bubblegum pink lipstick. She should have opted for lipgloss or a nude lipstick, but we'll give her a pass. Bella recently teamed up with Staples and DoSomething.org for their Staples for Students school supply drive, which is a campaign that helps collect school supplies for needy kids nation-wide.
Orange is an incredibly difficult color to pull off and many stars flop when they try to rock the color, but the former "One Tree Hill" actress completely made it work. She wore an orange Olcay Gulsen halter gown that would have been bland and boring had she not pumped it up with her gold accessories. The 30-year-old wore a stack of gold bangles on one wrist, gold cuffs on the other, dangling gold earrings and a cocktail ring that pulled the entire look together.
Who do you think was the best dressed lady at the Do Something Awards?
