It's long been a glamorous celeb hotspot in London, with great Italian food for A-listers, wealthy types, socialites and fashionistas. Paparazzi wait outside for the likes of P.Diddy, Ne-Yo, Naomi Campbell, Jessie J, Lily Allen and fiancé Sam Cooper.

Some say The Ivy has lost its touch, but still quite difficult to get a reservation unless you're Jude Law, George Clooney or Catherine Zeta-Jones. It's open late and right in the theater district. This is a sister restaurant to The Ivy. Since 2008, there is a less formal Oyster Bar next to the main restaurant, where celebrities may go at lunchtime.
