Minnie Driver Answers The Question: Who's Your Baby Daddy (Sort Of)

LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Minnie Driver still isn't revealing who the father of her unborn child is, but she is saying who he isn't.

"Craig's not the dad," "The Riches" star told the UK's Independent newspaper, referring to San Francisco musician Craig Zolezzi, who many had suspected fathered the child she is carrying.

"He's my great friend and he's been so cool about it," Driver said of her pal. "I want to shield the baby's dad as much as I can because it wasn't his choice to get roped into all this stuff. It'll come out in time and there'll be some other bump people will be interested in and I'll have this baby and get on with my life."

Driver did however drop hints over who spawned the seed for impending arrival: he is English and "sort of in the same business," she said.

One reason he hasn't been identified is because "he's really busy like me," Driver said.

While the public tries to figure out Driver's baby-daddy, the actress, herself, will be sorting out more important issues - like where to produce the little one.

"A big part of me wants my child to be English," she said when asked where she wants to give birth. "My family are here and I'm sure I'll move back here one day. It's just that my work, and the opportunities I've had, have been so varied and wonderful in the States that I've just followed my nose really. There's an ease living in America, and you're judged far more harshly in Britain for your artistic endeavors. But, obviously politically, in America, it's a… bloody mess."
