NEW YORK, NY -- Lindsay Lohan joined N.E.R.D. in New York this week for a cameo spot in a new video for their song about a superstar living the high life.
N.E.R.D. was shooting the video for "Everyone Nose," off their upcoming third album "Seeing Sounds," due out this summer.

The band, made up of Neptunes producers Pharrell Williams and Chad Hugo and their pal, rapper Shay Haley, took time before embarking on a tour to support Kanye West to film the clip.
Access Hollywood has learned Lindsay will play the object of Chad's desire in the video and there are rumors of a kissing scene.

Meanwhile, in related news, the "Mean Girls" star is close to finishing up her own album, a source told People.
"She already has four songs [completed]," the source said. "It'll be a fall release and they're looking to sneak a single to radio this summer."

As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, Lindsay has been in studios in New York and Los Angeles, laying down cuts for her third, as-yet-untitled record.
Her last effort, "A Little More Personal (Raw)," was released in 2005.

Though she has four tracks ready for its follow up, none of them are with super producer Timbaland, who she was rumored to have blown off meetings with. Appointments, however, were never actually on the cards, or scheduled, Timbaland's rep confirmed to People.
Don't count a collaboration completely out though.

"Lindsay would love to work with him," the source close to the actress told the magazine.
