Golden Globe group disburses $750,000 to charity

AP - Despite the lack of a glitzy televised ceremony earlier this year because of the writers strike, the organization that sponsors the Golden Globes dipped into its savings to present $759,865 in grants to film schools and nonprofit organizations at a luncheon honoring the Hollywood Foreign Press Association's new officers. more »
