  I can't believe that the shelter that Ellen's dog came from would not even consider checking out the girl's home before giving it to another family. The dog had a good home with the girl's family. Why didn't they just let it be. No, because Ellen Degeneres is a celebrity, they chose to make a big incident out of it. Thumbs up to Ellen for trying to do the right thing.

  Ellen was trying to do good. I have never heard of a pet adoption place that does not give to people with young kids. Dogs and kids go together usually quite well. They are blowing this out of proportion and I would never adopt from a place that made me sign something like that. That is the only thing Ellen did wrong was giving them business.

  Ellen broke the rules. Mutts & Mom's don't put dogs in homes with young children. The home she gave the dog too had two young daughters. Rules are rules, and if you break them, there are consequences. You don't always get a "pass" be cause you're rich or famous. I'm proud of Mutts & Moms for sticking to their guns, and holding people accountable, it's actually refreshing

  I love it when all the whackadoos come out to post on these boards with their hollier-than-thou attitudes, or their hate and disgust, yet they took the time to go on this web site and (I'm assuming) read the article. You already have your preconceived opinions so why bother? You are the ones who are sad and need to get a life. Not the people who actually are in touch with reality!
