'CSI' star Gary Dourdan charged with felony drug possession

- PALM SPRINGS, Calif. (AP) — "CSI" co-star Gary Dourdan has been charged with felony possession of heroin, cocaine and ecstasy stemming from his arrest last month, prosecutors said.

The 41-year-old actor was arrested after police found him asleep in his car in Palm Springs on April 28. He was allegedly parked on the wrong side of the street with the car's interior light on.

Prosecutors said Dourdan is scheduled to appear in court in Indio, about 130 miles east of Los Angeles, on May 28. The criminal complaint was dated Tuesday.

A call to Dourdan's attorneys wasn't immediately returned early Thursday.

Dourdan has played crime scene investigator Warrick Brown on CBS' "CSI" since 2000.

Several celebrities were in Palm Springs for the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in nearby Indio.

WHY IN THE HELL DO THESE MILLIONAIRES WITH EXTENDED CONTRACTS RESORT TO SUCH LIFESTYLES. IT'S NOT LIKE THEY HAVE TO SUPPLEMENT THEIR INCOME OR LIFE IS JUST TOO FREAKIN HARD TO BARE. I LOVE CSI --all of them, but CSI LAS VEGAS in particular. Gary is an amazing actor and I hate to see him go down this "drug road." It's ironic however that his character on the show and in real life are getting wrapped up in the same bad things...

well im a big fan of CSI and i just dont understand why when these ppl get all the fame they turn to drugs for fun or an escape. it dosent make any sence. i hope he gets better but i hope it dosent hurt the show.everybody on that show has worked hard to make the show #1 and it sucks that this might bring it down a notch

Too bad about Gary! I find it to be a very interesting coincidence that Gary's character on CSI gets into substance abuse problems and then poor old Gary gets into the same situation in real life! Is this life imitating art????

I love CSI and I enjoy watching Warmack act,What is going on? Why ae you turning to the devil ,the emeny and God has bless you with wonderful acting skills? You are bless, drugs is not the answer. I really hated to hear that because I'm a big fan of all this CSI's, but that one in particular. I think he's a very talented actor, and I hope he can get his act together.
