Jewel To Keep 'Dancing' After 'Minor Setback'

LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- An injury won't stop Jewel from "Dancing."
Though she took to her blog and "The Billy Bush Show" to discuss her break from rehearsals after a tendinitis diagnosis on Wednesday, the "Dancing With the Stars" contestant said on Thursday that the show - which premieres its eighth season on March 9 on ABC -- will go on.

Jewel Halts 'Dancing' Rehearsals With Tendinitis

LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- "Dancing With the Stars" contestant Jewel has tendinitis in her knees, the singer revealed on her blog on Wednesday - an injury she said may keep her from competing on the ABC show.
"I guess I really over did it on the rehearsal front!" she wrote. "My knees have been hurting so badly that I finally broke down and talked to [husband] Ty [Murray]'s knee doctor yesterday. He said I have tendinitis in my knees and that I have to start a course of medicine to try and bring the swelling down."
