Katy Perry To Host MTV Europe Music Awards

LIVERPOOL, U.K. -- Katy Perry is heading to the home of the Beatles to host the MTV Europe Music Awards next month.
The "I Kissed A Girl" singer, whose song raged on both the U.S. and U.K. charts this past summer, was announced as the host of the show earlier today. The event will take place in Liverpool, which was named "Capital of Culture" for 2008," on November 6.
