Faith Hill: Jennifer Hudson 'Perfect Choice' To Sing Super Bowl National Anthem

TAMPA, Florida -- The Super Bowl organizers got it right when they tapped Jennifer Hudson to perform the National Anthem, according to Faith Hill.
"She is a strong girl and a girl of faith and to come perform the National Anthem... at a time when our country is stepping up and moving forward for future generations, I think it's the perfect choice," the country singer told AccessHollywood.com on Thursday during a Super Bowl performers press conference in Tampa.

LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Jennifer Hudson has lined up her first live performance since her mother, brother and nephew were murdered in October.
The Oscar winner, who released her self-titled debut album earlier this year, will take part in the MusiCares Person of the Year event in Los Angeles on February 6, 2009, with the event honoring Neil Diamond.

Rep: 'No Truth' To Tim McGraw Running For Governor

He may be an "Indian Outlaw," but one thing Tim McGraw does not want to be is the governor of Tennessee.
Contrary to a report by The New Republic, which suggested the country superstar was considering making a run for the governor's mansion in his home state, a rep for McGraw said politics aren't on the singer's agenda - at least not yet.
