NEW YORK, New York -- Just a few months ago, Katherine Heigl's fate on "Grey's Anatomy" seemed uncertain after her character, Izzie Stevens, flat lined following brain surgery.
But on Monday night's "Late Show with David Letterman," where Katherine confirmed filming has started on Season 6, the upbeat actress told the host she is hoping "Grey's" is in it for the long haul.

LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- T.R. Knight's not wasting any time looking for work. On the heels of his announced departure from ABC "Grey's Anatomy," the actor is set to star in a production of "Parade" at the Mark Taper Forum in LA this fall, the Los Angeles Times reported.
The star will reportedly take on the role of Leo Frank in the Tony-winning musical, which runs from September 24 to November 15.
