MIAMI, Fla. -- For the third year in a row, the national anthem at the Super Bowl will be sung by an "American Idol" alum.
Carrie will sing the National Anthem prior to Super Bowl XLIV in Miami on February 7, the NFL and CBS announced on Thursday.
In addition, Queen Latifah will perform "America The Beautiful" before the game.
